Although returns may not be apparent in the short term, adopting ESG practices would be beneficial for firms in the long run as governments in emerging and Asian economies move towards enforcing regulations. Additionally, we learned how Synpulse tackles misreporting and greenwashing by adopting its own framework which involves identifying the important risks and information that companies should report to bridge the information gap between investors and companies.”
